Medical Genetics
is a research group at
the Institute of Medical Biochemistry,
Göteborg University. Our main interest is focused on the role of transcription factors during development, especially their role in pattern formation and organogenesis.
We develop mouse models using
gene targeting and pronuclear injections. Phenotypic comparison of such mouse models and corresponding human diseases provide fundamental information of the molecular mechanisms that cause disease.
